IEI Chapter

The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) is the national organization of engineering professionals in India. IEI has over 0.5 million members[from 15 engineering disciplines in 99 centres/chapters in India and overseas; it is the largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in the English-speaking world. IEI is one of the full members of the Engineers Mobility Forum.

CSI Chapter

The college is the member of CSI (Computer Society of India). The aim of this society is related with scientific and educational fields and is directed towards the advancement of the theoretical and practical knowledge of computer science & IT. Today, the CSI has 66 chapters all over India, 381 student branches, and more than 40,000 members, including India’s most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and dedicated academicians.

ETERNIX  Student Society

Leading the technical front, ETERNIX, the Computer Science society of HRIT enlightens the students with latest developments in field of computer science through events, workshops and seminars. It brings to students the vast unexplored "technical horizon" within their grasp hold. A few gems from the wide range of activities organized by Eternix are:

C and Java classes for the code masters in college and that too free of cost in order to spread technical knowledge.
Various Seminars are organized about latest technology.
A workshop on ethical hacking in association with IIT Kharagpur to enlighten the students of HRIT.
Other events by Eternix are Web Designing, Technical quiz, Aptitude test, Code jamming, LAN gaming and many more. These events were not only for the students of HRIT but also for students of the other colleges.
Eternix being a technical society provides a good platform to the students to learn and enhance their technical as well as managerial skills.
