MARKETING CLUB

The Department of Management, under the aegis of HRIT Group of Institutions, organized an activity in association with Maruti Suzuki on 5th September 2019.

“Strategies of Maruti Suzuki in Melting Down Economy”

Mr.Anjul Agarwal (Vice-Chairman HRIT Group of Institutions), Director General Dr.V.K. Jain & Group Director Dr. Ranjeet Singh inaugurated the programme. Senior officials from Maruti Suzuki visited the HRIT campus to launch its new Vehicle “IGNIS”. During the occasion, they interacted with students and faculty. Thereafter, they threw light on challenges faced by Maruti Suzuki and strategies adopted by the company to overcome, in the current crucial period. They also elaborated on all the aspects of the current marketing and sales practices of the industry. Program was convened by Mr. Ankur Bhamu and ended with Vote of Thanks by Head of the Department Prof. Ajay Gangele.

HR CLUB
The HR Club activity VIRTUAL CEO-An Enact took place on 28th Feb, 2020. The aim of this was to create a bridge between the theoretical knowledge of the students and practices of the organization through the enact.

The chief guest of the programme Mr.Yatendra Jain (HR Manager- Shriram Pistons & Rings L.t.d.) & Mr.Anjul Agarwal (Vice-Chairman HRIT Group of Institutions) inaugurated the programme. Director General Dr. V.K. Jain also addressed the audience. There were ten teams of students who participated in the enactment and came up with the solutions of realistic problems of the organizations through enact.

The chief guest addressed all the students and showed the real picture of the HR Practices going on in the organization nowadays.  The Programme was convened by Ms Rashmi Tyagi.

The Chief Guest facilitated the winner and runner up team of the enact. The Programme ended with Vote of Thanks by Head of the Department Prof. Ajay Gangele.

FINANCE CLUB

(Budget Paricharcha-2020)

The Finance club puts efforts towards developing high end qualities in students as finance professionals. A workshop on Budget Paricharcha-2020 was organized by Finance Club, Department of Management on 6th Feb, 2020 to understand the various aspects of Budget-2020 and their impact on society and economy. This program was convened by Prof. R.P. Pandey, a SEBI certified Financial Educator and was attended by Directors of different colleges of HRIT Group, Heads of various departments, faculties of the group and students of Management Discipline.

The program was inaugurated by Mr.Anjul Agarwal, Vice-Chairman HRIT Group of Institutions and Col. Rajeev Raghav, the Chief Guest and Keynote speaker of the program. The program was structured to discuss the budget proposals for various sectors i.e. Individuals, Corporate, Railway, Agriculture, Insurance, Healthcare and Defence etc., Col. Rajeev Raghav gave an overview of the budget and approach of the Finance Minister for a longer period. Mr. Anjul Agarwal, Vice- Chairman HRIT Group, motivated the participants and shared his views on Budget. The subject speakers explained various provisions of the Budget for that particular sector and its impact for the constituents of the sector. Director General Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Jain and Group Director Prof.(Dr.) Ranjit Singh also shared their views on key issues of the Budget and encouraged the participants . The Program was concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Ajay Gangele, HOD, Management.

Management Games @ Passing the Glass Marble

The Department of Management also conducts management games for its students. As we understand that mere classroom teaching is not sufficient to groom all aspects of individual personality so we conduct outbound sessions for them. Major objectives of these games are to enhance the eye for details, to improve analyzing skills, to enable quick decision making, to make students cooperative and team players and to give them long lasting impressions of the subjects, which they have learnt inside classrooms. Prof. Ajay Gangele conducted these games for MBA students, like in this game of passing the glass marble from one to another, students learn how to coordinate and contribute in the accomplishment of the assigned  task.

Management Games @ Spider’s Web

The Department of Management regularly conducts management games for its students. Managerial games were created in order to test the abilities, the decision capacity and the degree of reaction under risk conditions of those who took part in such activities. 

HOD- MBA Prof. Ajay Gangele understands the importance of these games, he along with other faculties of the department keep on organizing the same. Like in this game of spider web encouraging trust, team cooperation & coordination among students, Spider's web is a complicated activity where members have to pass themselves or each other through a complex spider's web without touching it.

Industrial Visit to Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd.

An industrial visit of Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd. was organized by Prof.Ajay Gangele(HoD) Department of management. MBA (2nd year) Students along with faculties Prof. Ankur Bhamu and Prof. Rashmi Tyagi visited the plant situated at Bahadurgarh Haryana. The students took keen interest in the working of this FMCG industry to understand current industry practices and the actual work culture at the plant. The main aim of industrial visit was to provide an exposure to students about the practical working environment. Students got an opportunity to interact with the Head HR Department of the company which helped students in getting a real view of today’s challenges and their various strategies to overcome it.

Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone

An Industrial visit for the 30 MBA First Year Students was conducted at Yakult in Sonipat on 16/11/2019.

This visit has given an exposure of manufacturing, quality control and management of activities at Yakult. The students overwhelmingly asked questions to the various departments regarding the operations and management.

Industrial Visits are a regular part of curriculum for MBA students.

This provides them a practical exposure of their theoretical knowledge.

HRIT Students & Faculties visited the very well renowned news channel set that is INDIA TV to experience the nuances of a live shoot.

 

NATIONAL SEMINAR

An AICTE sponsored one–day national seminar was organized by HR group of institutions, Ghaziabad, on the topic “Start-up: An Entrepreneurial Innovation- Opportunities and Challenges Ahead” on 23rd February, 2018. The objective of this seminar is to elucidate the initiative that government has taken for empowering India
The themes that were discussed in the seminar among Academia, Industrialist, Scholars were: The seminar is designed to discuss and emphasize on important emerging issues of Start-ups. The sub-themes include:
