An AICTE sponsored two–day national seminar was organized by HR group of institutions, Ghaziabad, on the topic DEMONETISATION AND ITS IMPACT ON INDIAN ECONOMY – ISSUES AND CHALLENGES on March 23, 2017.

An AICTE sponsored two–day national seminar was organized by HR group of institutions, Ghaziabad, on the topic “Growth with Human Face in the Era of Economic Downturn– Challenges Ahead”, on March 18-19, 2013. This seminar was inaugurated by Prof. D.S.Chauhan,Vice-Chancellor, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun by lighting a lamp. He stated that if we are unable to stop the inflation of money and ever increasing unemployment, our claim to be the fastest growing economy would be false. He urged the youth of this country to be honest and hardworking. He also encouraged the students to be the job creator rather than being a job seeker. He told that the advancement of a nation is meaningful only when the lifestyle of each of its citizen is improved.

He also stated that though the economy of india is growing rapidly, the problems like unemployment, corruption, crime, hunger and malnutrition are also increasing which is a matter of great concern.
Dr. Rajeev Sijariya, Director highlighted the growth and achievements of the group in past years. Dr. Ashok Kumar, HoD, discussed the relevance of the topic and the need of such seminars.

Some eminent personalities of their fields, like Dr. R.K. Bhatnagar, Retd. IAS & Head, Centre of Development Studies, Dr. Aftab Alam, Professor, Saudi Arabia University, Dr. R.S. Tyagi, Dr. J.L. Raina, Professor, C.C.S. University and Mr. A.K. Upadhyay delivered lectures and chaired various technical sessions.
About 300 students of various institutes and colleges were present during this seminar and presented their research papers.
WORKSHOP ON IMPACT OF UNION BUDGET 2013
The department of management every year organizes a one day workshop on Impact of union Budget.This year also, the department organized workshop on “Impact of union Budget 2013” on 2 March, 2013. This workshop was inaugurated by Er. Anil Agarwal, Chairman, HRCTGI and key note speakers were Mr. Harveer Singh, Sr. Editor, Business & Economy, Dainik Amar Ujala, Mr. P.C. Kudesia, Ex. Regional Manager, Indian Overseas Bank and Mr. Pratap Vishnoi, FCA.
A critical analysis of budget were made by the speakers on budget allocation, impact of government policies on current & new planning and forthcoming loksabha elections. More than 300 students and 50 faculty members participated in the workshop.
