1. FDP PROGRAMME ON IOT
The Department of Computer Application, H.R. Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad has conducted one-week FDP on “Internet of Things (IOT) and Use Cases: Practical Perspective” from July 15th -20th July, 2019. The inaugural session was graced by Dr Anil Agarwal, M.P.( Rajya Sabha ) as chief guest and Prof (Dr.) Ravi Tomar, UPES Dehradun as Guest of Honour and other distinguished guests from research and academics started the programme on 15th July 2019.This FDP is designed specially for the faculty members to acquire their skills in using the IOT platform and various technologies involved in IOT like for their teaching and PhD programs. It includes theory and Hands-on experience. The resource persons are from reputed organizations.
2. VISIT TO PARLIAMENT HOUSE:
A visit to parliament house is organized on 11-dec-2019 for BCA MCA students. Democracy is all about “we the people.” As a citizen of India, student visited Parliament Of India which is the “temple of democracy,” and this became possible with the help of our honorable chairman sir Dr. Anil Agarwal who is the member of parliament Rajya Sabha. Student feel enthusiastic when they saw the live session going on in Rajya Sabha.
3. WORKSHOP ON ADVANCED EXCEL:
ONE DAY workshop on ADVANCED EXCEL organized for students of BCA & MCA on 13 -Feb-2020. Advanced MS-Excel Training offers real, practical benefits in the general use of Excel Spreadsheets; making your spreadsheets more accurate, reliable, automatic and interactive. Our aim is to equip students with a strong understanding of using Excel's advanced functions. This training session is designed for the students to understand functionalities in MS-Excel to reduce time and eliminate errors in MS- Excel reporting practically.
4. INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO TRAINING BASKET SECTOR 62 NOIDA :
An industrial visit to the Training Basket has been organized on 22-feb-2020. Training Basket is the first comprehensive company dealing in all sorts of evergreen technologies and provides services in Education, Development, and Consultancy. Training Basket is a training institute that provides training on .Net Training, Amazon Web Services, CCNA Training, CCNP Certification, CITRIX XenApp, Cisco CCENT, Citrix Virtualization, Citrix XenDesktop, Cloud Computing and Computer Networking Classes.
5. WORKSHOP ON PYTHON BY DUCAT:
ONE DAY workshop on python language organized for students of BCA & MCA on 28 -Feb-2020 to explore the power and simplicity of python language in association with python software society of India. This workshop was appreciated by all students, as they were able to add another programming language in their technical skill set. The trainer has given a mix of theory and practical knowledge.

8. INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO APTRON, NOIDA:
As innovation transitions from academia to industry, the industrial visit provides students with a practical perspective of the workplace. In continuation of this, An Industrial visit was organized by the Department of Computer Applications about 50 students along with faculty members visited APTRON Solution Pvt. Ltd.,Sector 02, Noida.
In the first session, Mr. Ravi Mishra, Team Lead, discussed networking programming among students. After that students get hands-on exposure to networking.
In the second session, he discussed various job descriptions in the networking field. He also makes the students aware about the certification in CCNA, CCNP & CCIE.
After that they took a session of question & answer in which they resolved various queries of students related to internship in APTRON Solutions, how to apply etc.
